liquors exported from the Colony, one for European wines &c. and one for Chinese wines, These Registere have headings which are not
necessary and which entail much clerical work. From these two books
it is difficult and it would take much time to obtain statistice of
&C. wine

I also submit for your approval a proforma of a Register which will combine the two volumes into one and which will
meet all demands in point of check and statistics. The new Register will show entries of each nd/shipped and a check will be roadily
obtained.
This change has met with the approval of the Superintendent, the old Registers were ruled out so as not to waste the books and the entries were made as from let. January so as to start the Year with
proper statistics at hand.
